 When
I grow up I want to be… a firefighter, a doctor, a lawyer, a
police officer, a veterinarian, and the list goes on. Choosing a career
has never been an easy task. Many people end up two or three years
into university before realizing they are pursuing a career that they
don’t even want. Young people today are bombarded with choices
and making the right one is not easy. “When I Grow Up,”
offers young people something new - a program that outlines what different
careers are all about. While being entertained, young people will
learn how much education is involved, what the average salary is and
what it takes to succeed in various careers that they may, or may
not, have previously considered. “When I Grow Up” follows
Tim, a purple alien who believes that he is a superhero, on his adventures
to find himself a secret identity. The superheroes Tim has always
read about didn’t need any special training to become reporters,
photographers, or lawyers, so Tim believes he can just show up and
become whatever he wants. As Tim learns the truth, the audience learns
with him. “When I Grow Up” is a show that emphasizes education
and entertainment. Come along with Tim and explore reality. |
